She is a graduate of the Physical Therapy Department at the TEI of Athens and has been practicing as a physical therapist since 2002.
She began her training at Savonlinna Hospital in Finland. Her postgraduate education started in the field of Sports Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at the University of Novi Sad and continued with a second postgraduate education in "Anatomic Surgery" at the Medical School of Athens, EKPA.
She has participated in specialized physical therapy and neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation techniques. Specifically, she specialized in the Mulligan method, Neuroreflective Therapy, Combined Movement Theory, and dry needling therapy for musculoskeletal disorders.
She has attended seminars on musculoskeletal ultrasound for joint evaluation using ultrasound at Queen Mary University of London and Mile End Hospital London. She has also been trained by the American Academy of Manipulation Therapy for the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders (spinal manipulation).
From 2002 to 2004, she worked as a physical therapist for the Greek Swimming Federation.
Due to her continuous education in anatomical and functional musculoskeletal rehabilitation, she is a member of the European Society of Shoulder and Elbow Rehabilitation (EUSSER) and the American Academy of Musculoskeletal Therapy (AAMT).
Her particular interest in musculoskeletal health rehabilitation is in functional anatomy and its role in biomechanical analysis.
Since 2006, she has been working at the "PhysioByHand" physiotherapy center in Nea Smyrni, along with a team of physical therapists.
